Common questions
How do I know my septic tank needs pumping?
Slow drains throughout the house, gurgling pipes, odors, or wet, unusually green ground over the drainfield are common signs. Many homeowners schedule routine pumping every few years; ask a septic provider what fits your tank and household.
Who regulates septic systems in Delaware?
On-site wastewater (septic) systems are regulated by the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC). Ask your provider about any permit the job needs.
